With only two more weekends until Bazaar Bizarre, I’ve been sewing plushies like crazy every moment I can! This weekend, I finished 25 Ninja Beans, 5 Pea Pods, 20 Rice Babies, 10 Shrooms, 5 cell phone cozies, and 2 giant octopi (actually hectopi cuz they only have six legs!)!! Of course I had to run out of stuffing while I was on a roll! (Note to self – buy not one but two 5 pound boxes of stuffing next time!) I’m exhausted and my fingers are pretty numb from stitching even though I use thimbles on my thumb, index, and middle fingers!! I have 4 weekend days, 1 holiday and 14 week days left and about 100 hours of projected time to sew more plushies for Bazaar Bizarre and Renegade, which is the week after! I do work full time and I try to get at least 3 hours of sewing each work night. Aside from plushies, I still need to make a Mochi Studios banner, Mochi Studios t-shirts for me and my booth babes, postcards, and figure out how to set up my booth. There’s a lot of work to do but it’s all very exciting at the same time! I promise pictures of my progress in the next post!

Keep going Rita!! I know it will be GREAT! Are you going to paint your banner like you did on your quilt?

I wish I had time to make my own banner! I’m ordering a vinyl one but I still need to design it. I just ordered it over the weekend and hopefully it will arrive this week!

Whoa! That is a HECKUVA lot of sewing! 3 hours each work night – I am not worthy!
You know, I always meant to make a banner for my booth and I would never get around to it – your blog banner is so cute, have you considered having a vinyl banner being made with that artwork? I found a cheap place online (empirebanners) – so much easier than making my own!
