My lovely Flickr friend Claudia (armchairquilter) ordered a custom Ninja Bean for her daughter! She requested a blue/green print (surprise her!) because her daughter loves those colors and also wanted a sword on her back. Excellent challenge! This Ninja Bean so was so fun to make and personalize for her daughter!

I was also very impressed that her daughter recognized that the bronze fabric paint on the front for the sleeves is also the Chinese character for “person”!
The sword was especially fun and I added some embroidered details too!

Claudia is such a dear loving mother for ordering a custom Ninja Bean just for her daughter! It was a joy to make and customize for her, and I think her daughter loves her new Ninja Bean! She promptly named her “Nina” and Nina is her new constant companion ^_^
Aren’t they so cute together? Such a perfect pair!
Claudia blogged about her daughter and her new Ninja Bean on her blog!
Thank you, Claudia, for giving me the opportunity to make a cute Ninja Bean for your daughter! Hope to see you two at Bazaar Bizarre this December!

Rita, you are too kind! I’m going to try to make it to the Bizarre – this time of year is really crazy with the kids (and son’s birthday on the 16th). I’ll let you know.
