I’m up to my knees in Narwhals and Whales! I’ve made nearly 40 of them in total! This is the biggest streak of productivity I’ve ever experienced in plushie production! They’re made of soft fleece and the eyes are embroidered by hand by yours truly. I’m so excited to reveal them for the first time at Bazaar Bizarre Maker Faire on May 22nd!

I photographed these on the cute new wall shelves that my boyfriend just put up for me! Thanks, Lam!
The Narwhale unicorn horns are made of bent repurposed wire clothes hangers covered with white fleece so they’re pretty strong and unbendable but I still wouldn’t recommend them as toys for kids because of the danger of the pointiness of the horn.
As much as I love making these Whales and Narwhals, I need to switch to making other things for the craft fair! Up next… Pea Pods! I have cut lots of bright green fleece enough for 20 Pea Pods ready to be sewn throughout the week! I can’t wait for the weekend for hours of undisrupted sewing time! Have a wonderful day!
