Thank you, Chris and Stephanie, for inviting Lam and I to be a part of your beautiful wedding yesterday! My boyfriend, Lam, was Chris’ Best Man and created the couple’s slideshow, and I helped out any way I could including sewing last minute adjustments to Stephanie’s gorgeous wedding dress with snaps and a button+loop technique to hold up the train of her dress while she danced and mingled with her guests. The day was gorgeously foggy and the view was spectacular from the Brazilian Room in Tilden Regional Park in Berkeley. Everything about the wedding was so awesome and fun and personally customized with a fun and games theme! They made scrabble name plates, centerpieces that represented a different game at each table, monopoly-themed invitations, “X” and “O” scrabble title cuff links for Chris, and the bride and groom’s closest friends and family decorated the cakes and so much more!! I loved every thoughtful detail that they incorporated into their beautiful and fun wedding! Afterall, Chris proposed to Stephanie with a Scrabble board spelling out “Will you marry me Stephanie” and other loving words across the board. That’s so sweet!
Chris and Lam have been college roommates and close friends for the last like nine years and I’ve gotten to know Chris and Stephanie well over the years, and they are such a cute and loving couple who are so devoted to each other and perfectly happy together. I wanted to make them something special to celebrate their wedding day. May I present, Chris and Stephanie, the Bride and Groom Pea Pods!

The Groom Pea has a felt top hat that I hand sewed and the Bride Pea has a tulle veil and a teeny bow on the side. I also embroidered “Chis + Stephanie 10-11-09″ on the back of the Pea Pod shell but I did not have the time to take a picture of it! Here’s Chris and Stephanie holding the Pea Pods when I gave them to them *^_^*

I loved personalizing the Pea Pods especially for their wedding and they loved them too! It was a beautiful wedding and party full of happiness and joy! Stephanie, you looked amazing and Chris was looking good in his tux too! The most exciting part was when we realized that we left the box with their wedding rings in Chris’ garage and Lam speed drove all the way there and back in minutes right before the ceremony!
Congrats, Chris and Stephanie!! Best wishes and every happiness to you both!
