I love the woven labels I designed and ordered for Mochi Studios. However, they are too big for some of my smaller products like the Mushrooms and the Rice Babies (sneak preview below!). On Monday, I used my ink jet printer and a fresh color ink cartridge to print out small iron on labels onto printable fabric, and they turned out beautifully!
The colors and text are saturated, crisp, and beautiful!
Each dot is about 0.8″ in diameter and perfect for ironing onto small felt creatures.
I printed 120 circle labels on one page!
(I may need to invest in a small iron now too!)
And introducing —- Rice Babies! Here is a bunny and a kitty and there are many more felt animals in this collection! I’ve been stitching rice babies since high school for my friends, and I initially filled them with rice (something we always had lots of in the pantry and it gives them a nice weight too!) hence the name, Rice Babies! These are filled with poly pellets instead of rice so that they are not perishable.

These guys are about 3″ tall, not including ears, and their faces are embroidered by hand.
I love my new circular labels!
Now to add them to my Mushrooms!
